Turkeys ...Gobble ..gobble, Repeat of mount

Hey guys , The seasons almost here and I'm sure you are all losing sleep due to that constant "Gobble" going around in your head

I posted a different idea for displaying your trophy a while ago , this mount was very popular back in my taxi days ..Most guys just spread the tail and hang it on the wall.." WRONG" , if you leave the tissue holding the feathers in the tail you leave protein and fat ..the critters love that .. here come maggots and other nasty critters.., if you chose to use just the tail remove each feather and clean the base of same and reconstruct the original pattern..

The pix shows a unique mount , it takes less room than a full mount , hangs flat to the wall and is very attractive . Don't expect this mount to be much cheaper than a full mount ,as the costs and time required are not a lot less..

The ideal bird for a mount is one with not too much "Brooming" on the wing tips ,Tail in good shape ,Head has been put in bag to keep blood off feathers and handled carefully for delivery to your taxi guy ..
