My toughest decision was this bird

Even at 30 yards could make out great spurs but no visible beard

wasn't till the bird was 10 yards from me that 3 whiskers of a beard could be seen and sealed his fate.

LMAO.. Bob that is one crazy bird..

I have never witnessed a hen strutting, I am not a hunter..

But I would guess a rookie would shoot that hen-tom from a distance, for sure..

Only in Ontario... "Not that there is anything wrong with that"

It would be an easy decision for an ethical hunter, which was my point. 😉

Can't remember exactly but around the 20lb mark.
Have killed birds with big beards, long spurs, but never a true heavy weight.
My average is always around that 20 lb mark.
