Wheres all the turkey shots

Whats happening is no one having any luck at getting a bird. I harvested this guy day two, weight was 18lbs my buddy harvested his at 24lbs. No more sleepless nights

Awesome bird. I also got one second day.

No bird as of yet. I,ve seen turkeys at every outing and had hens come to the decoys but no beards so far

You guys are killing me. I broke my ankle 7 weeks ago & got the hard cast off yesterday. I got a walking cast but it is taking a bit getting used to. I might not get out for a late season turkey but I am hoping For a June bear up at Kirkland Lake as I can get in on my quad.

As of Monday there was still a foot of snow in the bush at Raymore.

Its not for lack of trying.
Its not for lack of birds but at the moments the hunting gods are favouring the turkeys however luck does swing both ways and eventually it'll go my way.

Work and the honey do list is getting in the way. I think this Saturday is a go. Cheers and good luck.

Not posting full pics yet , full mount will be completed on this bird .

I was after this bird for two years now and finally sealed the deal secound day in with the shot gun. I had him many times last year just inside bow range and let him pass.

Post a full story when full mount completed .

Big Foot :

10” beard
Little over 1.5” spurs
Almost 26 pounds .

My harvest this year was not at all like I had visioned. In fact it was more of an obligation. My morning hunt I had a jake lined up ready to go but I wanted to wait for the Toms. Which never made an appearance. So later I packed up and began to move to another location. Just as I entered the hardwoods Tom popped up from beside a log and tried to run away. The poor guy had a busted leg, so it was a mercy shot. That's why there is no huge smile, still a nice bird, beard 9 1/2 and spurs 1 1/4 I just wished I could of called him in.
Thats one nice bird you harvested. Hope to see the mount when its complete.
