You guys are killing me as well. Only been out 3 times and not heard or seen anything not even a hen. Supposed to go this morning . Got up to a real good light show that is still going on. Always next weekend. Fishing DR tomorrow.

Yesterday was unusual only the hens were calling on the roost and when they hit the ground dispersed in different directions. Don't know if it was the cold or the wind but the toms, who up till than were gobbling well on the roost, where silent and the bird basically ghosted past me. was only luck that I saw him before he saw me.

Was a hot one today but managed to fill my second tag DSCN0039 by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/153457252@N02/] , on Flickr 9 1/2" beard 1 1/8"b spurs Now time to catch me some whitefish

Tried the fall hunt once didn't do it for me totally different hunt. Than again I'm an upland bird dog guy and the sight of a locked up pointer well there is nothing better (at least for me).
