Came home from work Sunday morning around 7:30 and saw the bird feeders scattered.....drove up to where I park and saw a freezer that went kaput which I placed by the garage for garbage.....was turned upside down and the lid was tossed aside......then I realized it wasn't coons that attacked my bird feeders......had bear prints all over it.......looked in my veggie garden and he took bites out of various tomatoes.....guess it didn't like them.....move behind the house and dug a huge hole looking for bugs I guess......then moved to the front and destroyed the bird feeders......later in the day I saw he decided to dump by my fire pit and do a loop around my pond in the muck!.....checked my trail,cams......no,pics of him......now the wife's scared!

I believe there is a legal line between a bear and a problem bear. I have heard of bee farmers shooting bothersome bears in the past. Give the MNR a call and let them know you have a bear tearing up your yard very close to your residence. It may come back and could be a problem.
