I finally got out today for turkey, Got to the blind a bit late and heard gobbles right away. I have been lucky enough to hunt turkey for 10 years but today I saw something for the first time. I watched a good sized tom fan his feathers, answer my calls, move back and forth and just do what he is supposed to do, the whole time while sitting on a branch 30 ft up. How he didn't fall or get tangled in branches was something else. This was a first for me, he eventually flew to the ground gave out one more gobble and disappeared. Unfortunately I have no pics of it but it was something to see and I did come home empty but have a good memory of this year's hunt

Good stuff, better than I did today. Lots of gobbling before legal. thought was going to be goAod day. Turned out that a pack of yotes in the bush. Almost sealed the deal on one, but stopped just short of me letting a shot go. almost tried anyway. Tomorrow is another day. Good luck to you.
