Cured meat, Venison

Hi there. A few weeks ago I was away on a duck hunting trip and a friend of mine had some venison summer sausage. They are from kingston area and thats where they have it done. I am from the uxbridge area and was wondering if anyone had any information on a butcher that does cured meats. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

And they will take your meat and process it or only sell you their meat?

Its Ulrich family meats. If you take in the trimmings or deboned meat they will process it. Leskas meats on highway 12 just south of orillia will do the same. They will skin and process your deer any way you want- for a fee of course

I am from the Uxbridge area and use George West in Manilla.

We have used him for cutting our deer and moose over the years.

He is located on the NW corner of Simcoe Street and Hwy 7.

Makes great pepperettes, summer sausage and kielbasa. Vacuum packs everything and his pricing is good.
