My family cottage people have been begging me to thin out the local goose population. I have been seeing lots on my scouts leading up to the hunt.
Of course this morning was super quiet and there were more ducks than I have ever seen on this body of water. Got 2 geese to commit but only got one. They were 30 yards or more so I was not that disappointed.

Took mine to shop today to become summer sausage. I tried goose jerky a couple years ago and I didn't like it at all, so will stick to processing into pepperettts or summer sausage. Ground is really good to in chili and burgers.

will try again on Saturday while working out the back, if a flock flies over etc, bring out the Beretta, that needs a few rounds through it, few more trys off the back lawn til they shut down that bay also
