More birds arriving than leaving but no big push yet. Enjoyable day in the woods. Leaves are falling giving greater visabilty to watch the dogs work.  Good thing the dogs prefer finding birds than retreiving them as having a hard time connecting with the this year.

Very nice. Got to love working dogs.

Funny how it worked out. Offered up Stella's pups to the hunt community forum. Got no interest so ended up placing all but 1 of Nova's litter mates in homes of leisure for twice what I was asking. The one went east to hunt Newbrunswick woodcock.

looks like they missed out. But I'm sure the pups are enjoying a different life.
