Planning on helping a farmer to control the coyote issues. Live in Binbrook, outside of Hamilton. Looking for a best caliber and accuracy rifle to purchase. Price is not a factor and it needs to be legal for my area. Couldn't fine any info of types.

My savage in 22/250 is zero-ed in at 230 yards with Nikon BDC scope. Love it, does the job and it was cheap

I bought a coyote rifle last january. from my searching I went with a 22 250 as well. I live in the south so was concerned with stray bullets. 22-250 is flat, shooting. At 300yds I have to aim 4" high. The bullets are supposed to explode basically on contact so no ricochet. But there are lots of different calibers to choose from. I have a 270 that is legal to use in my area, but afraid to use it.

But what is the max caliber allowed being in city rural living. That's what I cant find on line.
Again money is not a factor any models that people would wish for. Christmas is coming. But Ill look into a 22-250

This is the firearms bylaw for Hamilton.

It does not specifically mention any caliber restrictions so you are ok up to .275 caliber for small game.
Check the maps in the bylaw to make sure the property in question is not in the prohibited area.

In addition to the 22-250 already mentioned, the .223 Remington is also a good choice, slightly less powerful.
Most of my coyote hunting these days is with a .243 WIN, it is a bit more powerful than the 22-250 and can also double as a deer rifle (with the proper ammo).
I had really good results with the winchester varmint X rounds for the .243.
Out of the last 20 coyotes shot 19 dropped where they stood, 1 ran for about 10yrds.
Out of the 19 that dropped in place, 1 got up a couple seconds later and ran 30yrds.
Another one got up 5 minutes later and walked away
The rest never moved.

If the area you’re shooting in is sensitive to noise try a .223 or a.222. Both of these calibers have a far milder report than a 22-250. If you handload ,use Hornady sx bullets as they break up as soon as they hit . I’m sure there are factory ammo choices that do the same(as Sabmg was saying).
As far as rifles are concerned, the Tikka is a great rifle. It is well built and accurate.

I would definitely go with a 243. Lots of power, no recoil, double as a deer gun, ammunition is easy to find and relatively cheap, and very flat and accurate.

If you want strictly a coyote gun. I would go for the .22-.250. Super flat shooting, accurate and ammo is readily available.

Someone has to be the fly in the ointment here. I’ve shot plenty of coyotes with a .243. The 22-250 is a .243 necked down to .22 caliber. For most coyote hunting out to 250 yards a .223 is very deadly. In my opinion the .243 and the 22-250 are bigger hammers than needed for the size of nail your looking to drive at those distances. .223 is where I would start my search. A Tikka would probably be a good starting point. I’ve shot the ruger Americans a fair bit though and they are surprisingly accurate. Good luck!
