Been out several times off my property about 2 country roads away. Was wondering using the Rino Grips with Shot gun exposed while travelling. Unloaded/ With Trigger lock on as well.

Youd have to look it up for bylaws and such for your area. From what I understand "legally" you can have it on a "grip" or a sling on atv as long as its unloaded and within hunting hours.
For after hours or early morning it would have to be in a case... soft/hard case or one of them "koplin" boots works great. Trigger lock not required but always a good idea depending on what area you will be in

Where I used to live not ontario people would use a hard case mounted to the atv running along the length. I believe it will keep you gun clean as a bonus.

Throw a gun boot on the bike -- worth every penny! Branches and dirt will do a number of your rifle. Either setup will not get you in hot water with a C.O. -- of course the gun is not loaded, right?!

(P.S. - Kolpin is a popular manufacturer. They also have great customer service to back up their products. Disclosure: I'm just a consumer and have no connection to this company.)

I have a Gun Boot for my Moose hunts. Just driving down the road here and there makes it a quick run. I think Ill use the boot from now. Looks less intimidating in the boot.

I have that same seat, my shotguns fits though the passager handle perfect, or I ride unlocked over shoulder sling, after hunt over goes into case, back to camp wiped down and trigger locked

all depends on the purpose
going target shooting on crown land, follow RCMP guidelines Transporting firearms Non-restricted firearms must be unloaded during transportation.
going hunting, read page 28 If you are in an area usually inhabited by wildlife during the period from half an hour after sunset to half an hour before sunrise you must unload and encase any firearms in your possession. To be considered encased, firearms must be enclosed on all six sides.
