well tried my hand at coyote hunting again this morning, again nothing seen, but I did get 4 crows. I bring my shotgun with me so when I'm done trying for coyotes I bring the shotgun out and switch to crows.

Hey Steve

You seem to cook what you shoot, so I'm wondering about how you cook/eat crow?

One of the funniest hunts ive ever had was crows over decoys went through 2 boxes of #8s in 15 minutes, still got the decoys i made outta plywood and a red tail hawk used a fox pro and crow calls ,its surprisingly easy and fun hunt to do anytime of the year.

I have only 1 crow decoy and an owl small, I just ordered 3 more crow decoys, if this brings in more birds I will get some more as it is fun and we have lots of crows around here. I can also get more property to hunt closer to town. The farms I have access to are no good for any deer or waterfowl so don't hunt them, but crows I'm sure are plentiful as I live in the crow capital of Ontario I believe the city says,

Ralph, I have no idea where you come up with this stuff, but no, I'm not going to try eating coyote.

It is surprising what you can find with a "Google" search.

Just trace the out outline of your one crow decoy onto plywood cut out with a jig saw and paint flat black then repeat until you have a dozen ,i got 2 actual decoys the rest are homemade for cheap.

I used to that for duck decoys it worked well. I should have 6 full body very soon there in the mail. If I need more I will follow your lead.
