got a call from local store today saying 410 shells arrived, only 2-1/5" though. I said I'd take 2 boxes of #5. I have never use that length before but some better then nothing. I will still be looking for 3".
Just saying this as maybe if my store got some, others did too.

I'm sure that you will be happy with the 2 1/4. I don't have experience with 410 but I would imaging that it will do well. If the shot hits it will do its purpose withing reasonable range.
