PAL Question

Looking for some clarification, I've heard different things from different people

I renewed my PAL on time a while ago but the gov still hasn't mailed me my piece of plastic. My license is active as I've recently made a shotgun purchase however I only have my old expired PAL license on hand and am not sure if I can transport firearms until I get my new license in the mail.

Is this true? Or can I print something off the RCMP website like a receipt that indicates I've renewed my license and can still transport firearms?

I would call the Chief firearms officer at 1 800 731 4000 cheers

Currently they are very very backed up. I have heard this from so many people. Absolutely call them.
Unfortunately there is nothing to print off.

Definitely give them a call tomorrow. Be prepared to wait up to an hour on hold

I believe the rcmp are dragging there feet on the pal renewal under the guidance of our federal leader.

I renewed my about this time last year, on line. 5 weeks later I had my card. Others I have talked to got theirs in about the same time,
