Well Saturday I put out 3 cameras and sighted in the shotgun. Funny every time I change chokes from Turkey to waterfowl and back I have to readjust the sights by quite a bit.

I wish you luck.
Personally this is going to be the most disappointing Turkey opener in Years for me. I lots my property due to a friend moving. Just heard today after a year of talks the new resident doesn’t want anyone’s hunting at all.

Turkeys everywhere! I drove from Barrie to Sarnia via Listowel Grand Bend last Saturday, lost count of the number of turkeys seen strutting. Seemed like every field had action going on. Sadly we saw one road kill, and had a hen run across the highway which nearly became grilled. Looks like a great turkey time for those going.Good Luck to all.

Very excited as well. 13 hens and 3 toms on the trail cam at 8:04 am yesterday and turkeys morning and night for the last week. Blind checked and ready. Turkey expandable broadheads installed. Work booked off. Here turkey turkey.

Cant wait either. Been scoping areas and had locked in 2 locations. Seen them and its a good sign. What's your take at opener. In the woods or drawing them out to open field ?

I have shot about 20 birds since I started 15 years ago and all but 3 have been shot in a field. But that might be because I find it easier so concentrate on fields,

Personally I love the open field/area hunts. See a lot more “dancing” from the Toms in my experience. Also I know their mood right away when they can clearly see my decoys.
