Every once in a while this beautiful moon lands near me and checks me out as I am trolling…..sometimes she follows me for a bit but of course has trouble keeping up. She looks genuinely interested in what I am about….she normally has a curious look on her face.. She came within 10 feet of me this time. This time I spent some time with her and took some pics and videos of her. In one of the videos you will see my rod bend as a fish is hitting it……but I am focused on the loon…….she is an absolute beauty. In the still picture of her flapping her wings she gave me her loon call……I sure wish I had my video running for that. Enjoy the pics and videos of her.
She has been visiting me for over 7 years now. How long does a loon last?

Here she’s in a full flap as she is crying out her loon call for me. I was in total all of what mother nature was unfolding for me to witness, complete with goosebumps.
My long ongoing affair with a lonesome loon, I think she is in love.
