Early Goose hunt

Anyone else getting excited for the early goose hunt. I been going through my field decoys and getting my camo all ready. I have cleaned my guns and cased them. Been training Sam a bit more for last couple weeks to get her ready. Will load jeep on Tuesday and head north on Wednesday. Buddy been scouting his fields and is some geese around. Supposed to rain opener so extra cloths.

I'm excited to see some reports. I haven't gotten my bird stamp...yet.

Went out yesterday to a lake near Nippising. I was disipointed no geese flying anywhere near where I was. I didn't do any scouting so it was taking a chance. I'm hoping to do better on my next outing. Maybe it's time to start asking for permission to hunt on a farmers field.
I'm somewhat new to this so im having growing pains.

I find fields much better than water and a lot easiest. You do have to get permission and will get no a lot but if you keep at it you will find places to go
