Some Buck potential

Haven't been out much to the NorthEast corner of my 10 acre lot so far but my cam nearby shows at least some potential. I plan on going out Sunday morning, but will move in tighter to the cam spot next week with my climber.

There are two, almost identical modest 8 point bucks. Focus on the right side G3 to distinguish them apart. This cam doesn't take very good night vids but I've taken a couple of shots out of the vids for posting.

This pic is tough to see but it shows the right side G3 which is a bit taller and more upright than the first buck

Then on Oct 23, this new buck came but was too close, sniffing the cam, to get a full rack in the pic, but got the full right side.

Looks like the G1 tine is busted??

Yes, it looks like the tip is busted or malformed a bit. It looks thick but also looks awfully smooth in the video to be a fractured brow tine. Here's another pic showing it's right side mate.

Well, moving in close to the trail cam with the climber did the trick. Got this guy about 6 PM on Nov 1. I almost killed myself trying to drag it home by myself, he's heavy. I didn't get him all the way before running out of steam, so called my son who came down today with his drag bucket as well as my youngest Grandson (12) to get the buck in the garage. This guy is not either of the two 8 points I posted earlier.

What a beautiful Buck.

I am still after my first deer this year. I would be happy with a spike buck.
