well I went north for a couple days since I still had a tag for that area. I got a deer in October locally. Got up there Wednesday afternoon to buddies place. went out little after 3pm. about 445 i see to deer coming up the snowmobile trail in front of me probably 70yds out. a Doe and a big fawn, she gets to about 30yds and knows there something wrong. she is stomping feet and tilted her head from side to side, but kept moving slowly towards me still facing me. the trail Y's past me about 25yds in front of me. the fawn starts up the left branch is about 20yds broad side to me and it steps of the packed snow and almost falls over, I know the feeling as I did the same thing getting there. fawn stops and Doe both stop with her about 25yds still facing me, than something makes noise off to left and they both take off to the right. Was a great experience. went out again last night to same spot and saw nothing. I consider this a great trip.
